r.LiNK interfacet muliggør integration af et bakkamera, et frontkamera med automatisk skift samt to ekstra videosignalkilder (f.eks. USB-afspiller, DVB-T2 tuner, ...) i bilens fabriksmonterede infotainmentsystem.
Begrænsninger:
Kun video: Interfacet understøtter KUN videosignaler til infotainmentsystemet. For lyd kræves en FM-modulator. For Comand Online NTG5-205 er en valgfri OBD-koder til fabriksmonteret audio-AUX tilgængelig (OBD-N5-X-01). Hvis to lydkilder skal tilsluttes infotainmentsystemet, kræves ekstra elektronik for at skifte mellem dem.
Fabriksmonteret bakkamera: Automatisk skift til bakkameraet aktiveres, så længe bakgearet er engageret. Yderligere elektronik er nødvendig for at forsinke skiftet tilbage til normal visning.
Eftermarkeds frontkamera: Frontkameraet aktiveres automatisk i 10 sekunder, når bakgearet frakobles. Manuel aktivering af frontkameraet er mulig via et eksternt kontrolpanel.
Retningslinjer og PDC: Viste retningslinjer og det optiske PDC-system er ikke tilgængelige i alle køretøjer.
Videosignal: Kun kompatibel med NTSC-videosignaler.

Bemærk:
Fremtidige ændringer/opdateringer af køretøjets software kan forårsage funktionsfejl i interfacet.
Det kan muligvis klares ved en softwareopdatering af interfacet men det kan vi ikke garantere.
En evt. opdatering koster 500,- og interfacet skal indsendes for egen regning. Arbejdsomkostninger for og andre udgifter forbundet med softwareopdateringerne refunderes ikke.
Derfor anbefales det ikke at opdatere bilens multimedie system.

Limitations
| Video only | The interface inserts ONLY video signals into the infotainment. For sound use an FM-modulator. Only for Comand Online NTG5-205, the optional OBD-coder for factory audio-AUX is available (OBD-N5-X- 01).
